What to Bring - Circle Z Ranch

These are some of our suggestions on what you may need for your vacation at the ranch. Most guests dress western chic for dinner, and we ask that guests not wear riding clothes for the evening cocktail hour and meal. We do have a laundry room with, complimentary detergents, available for you to use. Please check the weather conditions before packing as the temperatures vary from winter to spring. Evenings are cool in the desert, so a jacket is always a good idea. Please keep in mind that we do have a gift shop with shirts, gloves, jackets and miscellaneous items. All rooms have mini fridges for snacks and drinks. We drink our delicious and frequently tested well water, so bottled water is not necessary.

FOR RIDING:

Jeans/Jodhpurs

Long sleeve shirts for riding ( the sun is intense at this latitude)

Cowboy boots (smooth sole, with 1 ½ inch heel)

Cowboy hat with stampede string (stampede strings available at the ranch)

Riding helmet if preferred (we do have helmets at the corrals, required for guests 17 and younger)

Jacket/Vest and a raincoat

Biking shorts or panty hose (these help with chafing)
